It’s fairly simple to figure your square footage. In the example shown, we will calculate the square footage for each section and then add them together to get your total project square footage.

Once you’ve calculated the square footage of each section, add each section together to get your total project square footage. This will give you an idea of how big a kit you will need.
Section #1 is 70 inches wide and 32 inches high. If we enter 70 into the width field and 32 into height field in the calculator below, we get 15.56 square feet.
Section # 2 is 30 inches wide and 84 inches high. We enter 30 into the width field and 84 into height field in the calculator below, we get 17.5 square feet.
It’s best to draw your kitchen layout on a piece of paper. Then you can write measurements down and just plug numbers into the calculator.
